Arnold Laver director thanks sponsors

Arnold Laver Timber World director Stan Barrow would like to thank everyone who sponsored his Trans Pennine bike ride and helped him and his team raise more than £5,000 for Help for Heroes.

The team of five cycled from Hull to Maghull, covering more than 220 miles in four days.

"It was tough, but an experience I will never forget,“ said Mr Barrow.

"Our team has raised over £5,000 online for Help for Heroes so far, with possibly more to come in. The money will make a big difference to someone within the Help for Heroes charity and the exceptional work that they do."
