Automated roof truss production first
21 May 2018Finnish robotic automation and software technology company Trussmatic has developed the first fully automated wood roof truss production line in the world.
Building on the first US line sold in Q4 of 2017, Trussmatic has announced a new signed agreement to build three additional production lines in the US.
The new US production line orders are scheduled for delivery over the next 24 months. Trussmatic’s automated solutions received a lot of attention at the 2017 Building Component Manufacturing Conference (BCMC), when the company announced the first strategic US investor, the opening of a US offic and the first order.
“These new deals reflect the strong trust we have been fortunate to establish in the US and the growing industry awareness across North America for Trussmatic solutions,” said Matti Lehtipuu, Trussmatic CEO.
