Celebrating 100 years in business Arnold Laver opens its 17th Timber World branch in Surrey
16 January 2020The branch is located at Silverwing Industrial Estate in Croydon and will stock a wide range of timber and timber-related products. The company will also be holding a series of promotions and activities to celebrate the first month of opening.
The announcement by Arnold Laver states “We will carry what we believe to be one of the widest timber and timber-based product ranges in the UK and we pride ourselves on the high standards of our timber. We aim to be able to meet virtually any requirement from stock. When we can’t, we’ll source it specially."
Created in 1920 by Arnold Laver after returning from the Great War and choosing to use his savings to do something on his own rather than join his father’s firm. It is now part of the largest independent timber merchant group in the UK.
The company plans to continue its centenary celebrating throughout the whole of 2020 offering various prizes and promotions with the support of 12 suppliers who have each sponsored a month of activities.
