Charltons creates purchasing role
12 December 2014Charltons Gates & Fencing has appointed Dale Warren to the new role of purchasing manager, based at the company’s sawmills at Buckland Down near Frome in Somerset.
Mr Warren has a wealth of knowledge from a lifetime working in the timber industry. His experience includes a lead role at one of the UK’s leading timber and builders merchant brands, as well as three years working in the southern Amazon in Brazil.
He said he was excited about joining Charltons.
“Having been around for well over 100 years they are a company that understands timber,” said Mr Warren. “The company has a sense of tradition and a great ethos but also a vision of what innovation and fresh ideas can bring to the future.”
