Covers renews sponsorship of Chichester Festival Theatre

The company is a Silver Principal Partner for the theatre’s Festival 2018 and winter seasons and will also be a lead production sponsor for the musical Me and My Girl, which runs from July 2 to August 25. The cast is led by Matt Lucas and Caroline Quentin.

Chichester Festival Theatre was established in 1962 with the renowned actor and director Laurence Olivier as its first artistic director. It is now one of the UK’s flagship theatres; many of its productions transfer to the West End or tour nationally and internationally.

Covers managing director Henry Green said the company was delighted to continue its sponsorship.

“Just like Covers it has been part of the city’s landscape for many years and its rich history is testament to its success and service to the performing arts. We hope it continues to be part of our community for many more years to come,” he said.

Chichester Festival Theatre corporate development manager Vicky Gregory said the support of companies like Covers was important to ensuring the theatre could its productions and its work with the local community.”
