Davey opens eco-building centre
17 December 2014Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Davey opened the Sustainable Building Solutions Centre at the Lewes branch of Chandlers Building Supplies.
Mr Davey toured the site with Lewes MP Norman Baker and Chandlers’ head of sustainability Phil Barnard, who explained how the products benefitted the environment. “The way that the building industry is working and the way that we are living in our homes is constantly changing and evolving. Sustainable and environmentally friendly building techniques are really coming to the fore,” Mr Barnard said.
