DTE appoints new technical director

In his new role, Mr James will initially oversee Cambridge and Ilkeston Roofs as well as supporting and advising on technical standards and issues with national housebuilders and their technical teams.

Mr James joined DTE in 2011 as general manager for Ilkeston Roofs and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Before joining DTE, he worked as a designer, then assistant manager and finally branch manager at Palgrave Brown. He also worked as field sales manager for SIG Roofing.

“With hands-on experience of product design, combined with roles involving client support and manufacturing, Oli has a proven ability to understand the needs of our customers and ensure that we provide solutions to support their projects efficiently and cost effectively,” said Luke Roberts, DTE managing director.
