Early rush for 2015 BMF conference

17 July 2014

Merchants are already signing up for next year’s Builder Merchants Federation (BMF) all-industry conference, just days after the close of this year’s Tenerife event, according to the organisation.

The BMF and the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) alternate in organising the event, with the former taking the helm again in 2015 when the conference will take place in Malta from June 18-21.

Thirty-five merchant companies have already booked places for more than 95 delegates and 20 sponsorship packages have been taken. These include the headline sponsor Fakro and five other sponsors - SIG, Aggregate Industries, Polypipe, Alumasc and Builders Merchants News.

"This is a phenomenal endorsement by the whole industry for an annual all-industry event," said BMF managing director John Newcomb. "When you consider that attendance is typically 80 merchant companies and 50 supplies, we are already at 40% capacity in the first week of launch."
The theme of the conference is Building Momentum and Focus, forming the same acronym as the BMF and the host will be TV presenter and Olympic and Commonwealth gold medal-winning swimmer Sharron Davies.

Early bird conference rates apply until the end of the year. For more details visit www.bmfconference2015.co.uk.
