Ecological Building Systems to host air tightness seminar

Ecological Building Systems is returning to The Building Centre in London on October 18 to host a full day air tightness seminar in partnership with intelligent membrane specialist, pro clima, and the BBA.

Featuring guest speakers including Simon Corbey, associate director at The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP), the seminar follows a successful CLT Masterclass held by the specialist supplier of sustainable building products at The Building Centre last year.

Simon Corbey will be the facilitator and keynote speaker at the event and will also chair a round table, examining the core themes of optimising energy efficiency through the building fabric specification, avoiding the risk of moisture-related structural damage and designing a healthier built environment.

The day will also include a number of CPD presentations around varied aspects of air tightness moisture control and improving the indoor environment, along with a focus on the value of product testing and a number of practical product demonstrations.

Patrick Chester, project manager and Passivhaus consultant of London-based Enhabit, will also be sharing his experiences on their recent Passivhaus recent projects The event will carry six structured CPD points for all delegates who attend for the full day.

Other speakers are John Denyer from the BBA and Michael Foerster from pro clima.

The seminar at The Building Centre is part of a five-date tour, which will also take in Swindon (October 16), Belfast (November 6), Glasgow (November 8) and Birmingham (November 22). Details and booking for all five events are available at www.intellosealofapproval.com/
