Havwoods announces three senior roles

International wood flooring specialist, Havwoods Ltd has announced three appointments to the company: Mari Daly, European marketing manager, and business development managers, Philip Jones and Steve Clent.

The newly-appointed senior roles will support the global development of the brand, elevating the company as it enters the next exciting phase of international expansion.

Mari Daly joins with 20 years of experience in international marketing. Throughout her career, she has worked for several global businesses in senior marketing roles and is now heading up Havwoods’ European marketing strategy.

Ms Daly’s role is crucial in ensuring effective marketing communication across a wide range of channels including partner marketing. She is also responsible for the marketing and events activities across the company’s London showrooms in Clerkenwell and Chelsea. She reports into Tony Lorenz, the chief marketing officer at Havwoods, and works closely with her counterparts in New York and Sydney.

Philip Jones brings 32 years of flooring product knowledge to Havwoods. Starting out with a domestic installation company at the age of 17, Mr Jones then went on to join a large flooring contractor as a contracts manager. This provided him with an invaluable insight into the surface world, and after 10 years he moved into the manufacturing sales environment.

Having covered London for the past 18 years, focusing on the specification market, his appointment at Havwoods is his first venture into wood flooring.

Steve Clent has 30 years of experience working in the flooring market. During his career he has gained experience in many areas of the surface industry, including luxury vinyl, bespoke broadloom carpet and carpet tiles, and wood flooring.
