Ian Haldane raises £20,000 for Marie Curie

Ian Haldane, managing director at Haldane Fisher, ran the Rome marathon earlier this year and has raised £20,000 for Marie Curie.

Smashing an original fund-raising target of £10,000, Mr Haldane ran the marathon in memory of and tribute to his late mother, Elizabeth Haldane. He was delighted with all the support he received, both from friends and family, as well as colleagues, clients of and suppliers to Haldane Fisher.

“Completing a marathon has always been a personal long-term goal and having the opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile cause as Marie Curie at the same time has just been fantastic,” said Mr Haldane.

Marie Curie senior partnership manager Suzy McIlveen said the donation would fund a nurse for a year.
