Impressive grade 'A' for Woodexperts Associate
9 August 2014Simon Brock, an Associate with TFT Woodexperts Ltd, has managed a very rare achievement in the recent Wood Technology Society (WTS) Certificate Examinations, by attaining grade A. This extraordinarily high mark has not been seen since the IOM3 (The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining) absorbed the former Institute of Wood Science (IWSc) a few years ago.
The director of TFT Woodexperts, Jim Coulson (himself a past president of the IWSc and a current member of the WTS Board), said he was delighted at Mr Brock's success.
"It reflects all the hard work that Simon has put into his studies since he joined the practice; and it will further enhance both his usefulness to us and his credibility with our clients when dealing with the complex range of wood science and timber technology matters that are our bread and butter."
