Ireland’s DAFM and Coillte co-host conference
6 October 2022The Republic of Ireland’s Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Coillte are staging a Build with Wood event on November 23.
Subtitled “The Pathway to Net Zero Conference”, the inaugural Build with Wood event is targeted at “leading international experts, policymakers and practitioners to hear about the latest developments in the field of timber design and engineering”.
The conference promises to be a coming together of the construction, regulatory and scientific communities to explore opportunities to decarbonise the built environment in support of Ireland’s climate targets.
The conference takes place from 09.00-13.30 at Beyond the Trees Avondale, Avondale Forest Park, Co Wicklow and is followed at 13.30-15.30 by lunch and a tour of the treetop walk and viewing tower.
