New SterlingOSB merchant campaign

The manufacturer of Sterling OSB is following up a 24% sales boost in 2016 with a new nationwide merchant campaign.

Norbord's new campaign – “A Great Deal Better” – is designed to highlight SterlingOSB’s strengths in a host of general construction tasks and comprises nationwide advertising and point of sale support along with PR activities in the media and in branch.

A key element is an improved competition between March to October, comprising weekly prizes.

“Our communications strategy over the last few years has focused on educating people about the benefits of OSB and this has resulted in more and more builders using SterlingOSB where they may have automatically chosen plywood in the past,” said David Connacher, Norbord’s brand and communications manager.
