Obituary – Michael Tattersall
9 October 2019Michael David Tattersall, aged 68 of Formby, Merseyside passed away on October 1 at Aintree Hospital after a short but brave fight with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Carol, sons Mark and Peter and grandchildren, Harry, Erin, Jack and Ernie.
Mr Tattersall followed the family footsteps into the timber trade and enjoyed a 40-plus year career, most notably with firms Edward Hughes, Scottish Veneers, Noranda and Price & Pierce. Later, he started his own venture Mike Tattersall Agencies and formed a 17-year working relationship with Graeme Holburn & Co.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Church, Formby on the October 16 starting at 12:15 followed by food and drinks at Formby Golf Club from 13:15.
