Obituary – Ross Bellamy
16 November 2020Ross Bellamy TD AIWSc, who was national president of the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society (TTBS) in 1986 and Midlands region president in 1997, 2003 and 2004, died on November 11, aged 86.
With more than 50 years of service to the society, he also served as national treasurer for 15 years before becoming investment manager when the role was changed .
His retirement from the TTBS board of management just before age 80 was announced at the board’s meeting in February 2014.
Mr Bellamy will be remembered fondly by all his colleagues at TTBS and at Vincent Timber in Birmingham.
