The P&A Group has announced changes at Board level as it continues to forge ahead with its programme of continuous improvement. The new organisational structure reflects the Group’s mission to put quality and customer service at the heart of everything it does.

Rhys Hughes, who has been with the business for 25 years and was previously responsible for operations becomes director - strategic development and supply chain. This is a new role within the business.

Paul Booth, who joined the P&A Group a year ago as operations manager will now take on the role of operations director with responsibility for all production, warehouse and distribution functions within the business.

“We are always striving to improve and deliver a great service to our customers and I am delighted to announce some changes at director level which I believe strengthen the team further and enables greater focus in key areas of development,” said Steve Morgan, managing director.

“Given the continued uncertainty in the political and economic climate, we are keen to ensure that our supply chain is reliable and robust and that we can respond quickly and effectively to our customers’ seasonal demands,” he continued. “Leveraging the talent and experience in the business enables us to deliver on that intention and ensures our growth strategy is agile and responsive.”

The P&A Group comprises: Zest 4 Leisure, Zest 4 Leisure Direct, The Woodworks Garden Centre, P&A Pallets & Packing Cases, The Woodworks Garden Centre and Timber Buildings and St Andrews Business Centre
