Panel Agency Ltd acquires Grafton Boards Ltd

Grafton Boards was established in 2007 and was in the ownership of husband and wife team, Jill and Jeremy Groom. Expressing a desire to retire, the Grooms approached Panel Agency Limited to discuss an acquisition of their panel distribution Company.

With effect from November 5, the sale has been completed and Grafton Boards Ltd will continue to operate under the new management and ownership of Panel Agency.

“We are delighted to expand our small family group of Companies and we intend to continue the good work that the Grooms have undertaken to introduce new wood based panels to market,” said Ernest Wilson, chairman of Panel Agency.

“It will be business as usual for existing customers and we intend to expand the range of products that Grafton Boards currently offers.”

Grafton Boards will operate from Panel Agency's base at Longfield.
