Panel prices fall in Russia
18 August 2013The average price of wood-based panels in Russia fell 8% last month, according to the monthly Lesprom network price report.
The biggest decrease was in particleboard, laminated particleboard and OSB-3. There was a slight decrease in prices for MDF.
Lesprom expects demand for particleboard to fall in August due to reduced activity in construction, although MDF and OSB prices are expected to remain stable.
