13 June 2014

Plum Creek Timber Co’s MDF plant in Columbia Falls, Montana, which suffered two dust explosions and a fire this week, could be up and running again in month.

Plum Creek's sawmill and plywood plant remain operational and in local media the company says that MDF production could resume within 30 days.

About 70 firefighters attended the incident, which happened on Tuesday.

The seven-acre MDF facility employs 183 people.
