Robertson joins IBC Buying Group
17 May 2019The IBC Buying Group has appointed Dave Robertson as commercial director.
Mr Robertson has more than 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, including time spent as commercial director of Buildbase, where he was responsible for 150 branches. More recently, he played a fundamental role in the strategic growth of supplier Fakro GB, as the company enhanced its market position in the roof window sector.
Mr Robertson will work closely with fellow commercial director Paul Read. Together, they will liaise with IBC’s merchant members and supplier partners to negotiate successful deals that bring strong benefits to both parties.
The IBC Buying Group was established in 2008. It now has more than 180 merchant members and more than 90 leading supplier partners, with a combined buying power in excess of £500m.
