Sawmiller listed among fastest growing companies
25 September 2019Independent home grown sawmiller A&J Scott Ltd has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies across the North East.
The company, based in Northumberland, made it into the 2019 list after achieving three years of strong turnover growth whilst still remaining profitable. It supplies sawn timber to the fencing, garden product and DIY sectors across the UK.
The Fastest 50 list recognises those market leading companies inspiring belief, spearheading innovation and driving change. It is compiled by UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway and supported by The Journal newspaper.
A&J Scott will now go forward to the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 Awards 2019 on October 11, where awards will be given to the fastest growing large, medium and small businesses in the region as well as an award for the overall fastest growing business.
