Students scoop WTA design prize

Students from the Universities of Bristol and West of England have been presented with design competition prizes at the Timber Trade Federation’s Western Timber Association annual dinner.

The event, sponsored by Koppers, at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel saw prizes presented to students of the universities’ schools of architecture and engineering by WTA chairman David Dallimore.

The winning Bristol students were Sam Wood, Patrick Garratt, Daniel Kerr and Anna Tolmarsh, while the University of West of England winners were Amy Wing Huen Tsang, Jemima Osborne and Frankie Pearce.

The competition was in association with TRADA to support the latter’s University Engagement Programme. Liz Turner of TRADA helped to judge the event.
