Surrey joinery manufacturer expands with new factory

Surrey joinery manufacturer Stanbrook and Nicholson is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a substantial investment and relocation to a new purpose designed site.

The new 20,000ft2 facilities at West Molesey have allowed Stanbrook and Nicholson to upscale their operations of bespoke timber windows, doors and roof lanterns to service the growth in demand for factory finished timber products from high end developers, architects and domestic households.

The new factory, which combines CNC machinery and design facilities with traditional joinery techniques and hand finishing, has allowed the company to deliver increased volume with a more streamlined production process.

Stanbrook and Nicholson have also benefited from government grant funding via the Manufacturing Advisory Service, which offer support to businesses with good growth potential.

“Our new factory represents a substantial investment into our production capabilities, allowing us to accommodate large new CNC machinery and increase our production to meet the demand we are experiencing for our products,” said Ben Stanbrook, director at Stanbrook and Nicholson.

“Importantly, we are able to maintain our local production with distribution across the UK. This allows us to move forward with the same products and high quality we are known for – but on a larger scale.”
