Swedish Wood pavilion to feature at London Design Festival
6 September 2018A Swedish Design Pavilion sponsored by Swedish Wood, will feature at the London Design Festival on September 20-23 at the Old Truman Brewery in London’s fashionable Shoreditch.
Swedish Wood is providing the timber walls, floors, roof and plinths for the pavilion, designed by Karin Sundberg of KarIN architects.
The pavilion will be constructed entirely of high quality Swedish solid pine, with plywood plinths, all finished in a deep pink translucent stain.
Swedish Wood was happy to get involved because of the opportunity to showcase new, finished wood joinery products alongside some of the finest contemporary Swedish design at an exhibition that attracts around 30,000 interior designers, buyers, manufacturers and members of the public.
The wood for the Pavilion is supplied by Mike England Timber, Preston – specialists in timber coating and supplying premium quality timber, and customers of Moelven and other Swedish Wood members.
