Timber Trade Corona Cut Challenge closing in on £5,000 target

8 July 2020

National Timber Group directors Peter Howarth and Richard Jarvis have already raised more than £4,000 for charity in the Timber Trade Corona Cut Challenge.

Their aim is to encourage a team of 50 people from the timber sector to donate their unspent, lockdown haircut money to the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society (TTBS) and Cancer Research UK.

As an added incentive to support the cause the duo have shaved their heads. It is suggested that supporters could raise £100 each through haircut donations and sponsorship or sponsor another team member to raise their foreheads.

The effort hope to raise at least £5,000. The link to the Just Giving page is at https://www.justgiving.com/team/coronacutchallenge
