TTF announces dates for UK softwood and hardwood conferences
11 January 2017The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) is organising two conferences around the date of its annual dinner in March.
The UK Softwood Conference (normally known as the Shippers' Breakfast Meeting) will be held in the morning of March 8, with the dinner taking place in the evening. Both events will take place at The Globe Theatre, London.
The UK Hardwood Conference will take place the following day, with a venue yet to be confirmed.
Both conferences are designed to give TTF members a chance to hear presentations from leading market players about pressures on supply chains, changing sources of production, the changing nature of the UK timber product portfolio and how prices and markets are affected by demand in other parts of the globe.
Brexit is likely to be a dominant theme.
