TTF welcomes first composites supplier

Fast-expanding eco-friendly decking company Composite Prime has been awarded membership of the Timber Trade Federation (TTF), becoming the first-ever member of the industry-leading body that solely supplies composite materials.

From a standing start three years ago, Composite Prime, based in Ilkley, Leeds, is now one of the largest suppliers of composite decking products in the UK.

The company has high profile distribution partnership agreements for its HD Deck DUAL and HD Deck XS ranges with, among others, Arnold Laver, Taylor Maxwell and Timbmet, along with GAP, a leading supplier to builders and installers in the UK uPVC market.

“We’re pleased to welcome Composite Prime on board,” said David Hopkins, managing director of the TTF.

“It has already made great in-roads to the market via a number of our members and look set to continue that growth. I wish them every success.”

“To become the first composites-only member of the TTF, the UK’s foremost membership body in its sector, is a landmark achievement for Composite Prime,” said Charles Taylor, sales director of Composite Prime.

“With a heritage stretching back over 125 years, the TTF acts as the guardian of product standards, quality and sustainability – a philosophy we wholeheartedly share across our entire operation.

“We are actively pursuing membership of other industry-leading bodies who represent the market sectors we are increasingly supplying.”
