TTJ Awards guest numbers hit 400
24 August 2016TTJ Awards judges have been busy meeting up to assess the judged categories, as ticket sales for the 20th anniversary event reach 400.
Judges have been meeting up to assess entries in the Innovation, Career Development, Environmental Achievement, Website of the Year and Engineered Timber categories.
A strong crop of varied entries have been assessed by the Innovation Award judging team – TRADA’s Rupert Scott, Timber Expo show director Nathan Garnett and TTJ group editor Stephen Powney – during two rounds of judging, in London and at TRADA's base at High Wycombe. The category is sponsored by TRADA and Timber Expo.
This year’s TTJ Awards will see a widening in scope for the overall Timber Trader of the Year award, with performance in the judged categories being an extra consideration, in addition to the usual vote performance in the main trading categories.
The 2016 TTJ Awards, featuring former England rugby World Cup hero Martin Bayfield as host and guest speaker, is on September 30 at The Brewery, London.
