TTJ Awards moves to InterContinental London Park Lane

1 February 2018

The TTJ Awards will be moving to London’s Park Lane this year, with the InterContinental Hotel hosting the September 21 event.

The InterContinental London Park Lane, situated next to Hyde Park and Green Park, as well as the Wellington Arch, has been used for functions such as the Wimbledon Champions Ball and is a favourite for the likes of Tony Blair and Condoleezza Rice.

“We’re delighted to secure the InterContinental for the 2018 TTJ Awards,” said Stephen Powney, TTJ group editor. “It’s a fantastic five-star hotel in Mayfair which has hosted some fabulous events in the past and will now be the setting for the timber industry’s own awards celebration.”

The hotel sits on one of London’s most prestigious corners between Mayfair and Knightsbridge. It is situated on the site of 145 Piccadilly, the Queen's former childhood residence.

Entries for the judged awards will be opening shortly, with categories including: Excellence in Marketing, Environmental Achievement, Achievement in Engineered Timber, Career Development, Website of the Year and Timber Innovation.
