Two new users for CounterAct Software

13 July 2020

Border Merchant Systems has welcomed two new users of its CounterAct software despite the restrictions imposed by Covid-19.

“We are proud to announce that new users are embracing our systems and that we have been able to help them go live during this difficult time,” said Phil Davies, commercial manager. “Our latest software has proven critical in ensuring businesses are able to operate in a lean and efficient way, and it puts them in a strong position to be able to manage any future peaks or difficulties in supply and demand.”

Habco Building Supplies is a brand-new startup merchant operating from purpose-built premises in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Despite all the restrictions caused by Covid-19, Border managed to carry out its system installation as well as organise a remote system training programme so it would be ready in time to open the doors and start trading.

DS Insulations Ltd, based in Leicester, is a specialist merchant stocking and supplying a wide range of insulation products throughout the region. Originally due to go live in the spring, installation, and training for its CounterAct system was initially delayed by the Covid-19 crisis. However, with good planning and remote working, they went live on July 1.
