UK Construction Week London postponed to May 2022

2 February 2021

The organisers of UK Construction Week (UKCW) have announced the postponement of the 2021 London event.

The event was due to take place on May 5-7 at ExCeL London. It will now move forward to May 3-5, 2022.

UKCW organiser Media 10 announced last September that it was creating the new May event in London, while continuing to run its Birmingham event in October.

“With restrictions likely to stay with us for longer than we had all hoped and anticipated, we feel it would be better for all of our loyal and supportive delegates, clients and partners to postpone the May event,” said Nathan Garnett, UKCW director.

“If we staged an event with limited attendance, and travel restriction in place for our overseas exhibitors and visitors, we feel we would not be best serving our clients.”

Mr Garnett said UKCW was confident of holding its October 5-7 event at the NEC due to progress on rolling out the Covid-19 vaccination programme.

UK Construction Week in October will be the UK’s first major construction exhibition for over 18 months. The UK Construction Week team and partners will also deliver virtual events in March and May.
