W. Howard Group Purchases Balcas’ mouldings business

Ireland-based Balcas Kildare has been successfully manufacturing decorative mouldings since 1988 and has been an innovator in the sector with its primed moulding brand “Fable” and more recently with the launch of “Kota” – a fully finished range of decorative mouldings.

W. Howard Group said it had recognised Balcas Kildare’s strong reputation for quality and service over many years, along with its manufacturing capability and latent available capacity.

“We are delighted with the sale as there is real confidence in the potential of the new business and a clear determination from the new owner to harness the existing strengths of both companies to provide a long-term future for manufacturing on the current site,” said Balcas CEO Brian Murphy.
