West Port recruits Nielsen as operations director
8 March 2021Arvid Nielsen has joined West Port Timber Windows & Doors as operations director. His focus will be on streamlining and improving a variety of processes and systems, which will ultimately deliver benefits to all existing and future customers.
Mr Nielsen’s career has taken him to all corners of England – from the east and his birth town of Bridlington and working in Kingston upon Hull, to the southern county of West Sussex, to the West Midlands and now to the north and The New West Port Corporation Ltd in Maryport.
His roles have included running the production facility for one of the founding group members of the FSC (Milland Fine Timber), through a variety of environments, all wood related but always engaged in process and overall business improvement.
"We produce an excellent range of bespoke manufactured products,” said Mr Nielsen. “Believing in the product is one thing, but working alongside Sean Parnaby and David Reay is a fantastic opportunity.
“The bespoke and specialist wood doors and windows marketplace continues to demand quality and environmentally sustainable products. Our commitment to customers, safety, security and quality are at the top of our list and we are not going to take our eyes off that."
