WTS launches members’ newsletter
20 April 2014The Wood Technology Society (WTS) has renewed its communication strategy with the launch of its first email newsletter.
WTS chairman Andrew True said the newsletter, which will be published about three times a year, would keep members informed of the organisation's activities.
It is in addition to the WTS's flagship Wood Focus magazine, which is now published digitally and also around three times a year.
Mr True said the WTS was looking at having Wood Focus included in Materials World, the journal of IOM3, which WTS is part of.
"We want to get it out to the wider industry," he said.
Mr True added that the WTS certificate course was under review and would be available for candidates to take up early next year.
The entry level foundation course, now called the Timber and Panel Products Course, is up and running.
