J Scadding & Son Ltd is a long established family owned timber merchant based in Bristol.

Due to the future retirement plans of our current Managing Director we are seeking to recruit an experienced professional to share overall responsibility for the day to day running of the business, to build on its strong customer base, improving sales, turnover and profit.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within the timber industry and have a good track record of managing a diverse and varied workload. They should have a good understanding of the planning and organisation of both a timber yard and a timber machining mill. They must work closely with the existing staff.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to hold a key role within a successful business.
