Senior Technical Sales Executive

We are LIGNIA Wood Company, the modified timber business based in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. Due to continued growth we are now looking to hire a highly experienced sales professional from the timber industry.

LIGNIA* is 'wood made for life: beautiful, sustainable and legal, and is manufactured through our patent-pending modification process; this process takes FSC softwood and gives it all the properties and beauty normally associated with hardwoods.

Based in our newly-commissioned plant in Barry (the first commercial timber modification site in the UK), we are launching three principal brands in 2019 in stages, LIGNIA Yacht, LIGNIA and LIGNIA Fire, that are aimed at global yacht deck and construction markets.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting, planning and executing sales activities for the LIGNIA suite of brands in conjunction with our distribution partners in the UK and Europe.

You will have a proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivering results; previous account management experience and knowledge of the timber industry is essential. Overseas travel will be involved.
