TIMBER MANAGER (James Latham)

James Latham, the leading timber and panel product distributor are currently looking for a Timber Manager to join our established team at Purfleet.

We are a family based business with our history going back to 1757.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the hardwood trade, some management experience and the desire to develop business with a forward thinking, established timber importer.

We will offer further career development and the opportunity to visit our suppliers. We have a strong training ethos, which over time you would be part of.  Based at our flagship timber depot at Purfleet, the role will require the successful candidate to oversee the day to day management of the sales office, ensure the depot achieves sales and margin targets, liaise with suppliers and manage stock.

We will offer a competitive remuneration package, commensurate with the position and relocation costs if applicable to the right candidate.
