I’m looking for an established company involved in timber trading, imports or manufacturing in the UK to represent its timber procurement interests in St Petersburg, Russia. Organise import of timber products including sourcing, shipments and RUS / UK customs formalities.

• I’m flexible to travel around the country and can visit sawmills, inspect products on your behalf;
• I can organise direct contracts with Russian sawmills, maintaining high quality control;
• I can source sawmills that can produce custom products for your specific requirements;
• I can organise procurement of Siberian Larch at a very attractive prices;
• I flexible to travel to the UK any time for meetings, product inspections etc. however most of my work time I would prefer to live in St Petersburg and work from there.
• I can organise procurement of other related products such as fuel briquettes, pellets, firewood, ironmongery for your sheds building etc. etc.

My Experience:

• I have over 10 years of timber trading work experience in the UK importing redwood, whitewood and Siberian larch timber via Humberside and Tilbury ports.
• I was responsible for procurement of timber products from mainly Russian and Latvian sawmills, organising import, customs clearance and UK-wide haulage for customers.
• I have many years of long term work with Russian sawmills together with experience and valued knowledge of the Russian timber market and connections with many sawmills from small family run companies to largest timber manufacturers producing hundreds of thousands of m3 sawn and machined timber per annum.

What I’m looking for:

• Established UK company involved in softwood timber imports, trading or manufacturing
• Long term contract and stability
• Salary based, commission based, direct company representative terms – subject to discussion and agreement
• I’m flexible to travel to the UK any time when needed, however most of my work time I would prefer to live in St Petersburg and work from there

Softwood prices from well knows sawmills, top grade timber, I can achieve, delivered UK:

• Whitewood / Redwood timber, S/F to GOST 26002-83, KD 18-20 % - from £167 per m3 (FOM Immingham)
• Whitewood / Redwood timber, Grade V to GOST 26002-83, KD 18-20 % - from £142 per m3 (FOM Immingham)
• Siberian Larch, Grade S/F to GOST 26002-83, KD 18-20 % - from £280 per m3 (FOM Immingham)
• Price can depend on volume, regularity and payment terms you like to trade.
• If your machining operations not require top grade quality and you would like to reduce your purchase prices below £120 / m3 – it’s all possible. Just subject to terms and your requirements.”
