Jotun woodstains used for TV programme

23 July, 2010

Jotun woodstains were used to redecorate a Cornish farm park as part of Duncan Bannatyne’s Seaside SOS television programme.

Demidekk Ultimate and Butinox 1 paints were supplied to Carruan Farm Park in Polzeath by Redruth-based merchant Rabart Decorating Merchants for external application on the restaurant, office buildings and barns where children’s activities take place.

Butinox 1 provided a translucent finish to give up to five years of protection, while water-borne Demidekk gives an opaque silk-like finish.

Farm park owners and the television programme producers wanted the colour scheme to reflect the environmental impact of the centre through visual means. This was achieved by using a mixture of green and ivory colours on the exterior.
