Furniture fittings manufacturer Blum Gmbh has introduced new concepts in storage use.
The company has been involved in concept and product development since discovering how little importance was paid to use of storage space in kitchen and fitted furniture design.
Its high-load Tandem runner systems, optimum door hinging and height extension and internal organisational systems for drawers and pull-outs were featured at the recent ZOW 2003 show in Germany.
They are used in units previously thought to be impractical for use: floor level zones in base units (toe kick drawers), sink units and problematic corner units.
