One of Britain’s leading forest sport competitors, Bob Woodhead, a professional tree surgeon and forester from Devon, is taking part in the World Logging Championships at the International Forest Festival at Lockerbie, Scotland in September.
Mr Woodhead will be using a Makita DCS7900 chainsaw in the contest which he says has a high power to weight ratio and is ideal both as a working machine and for competition.
