Bona, which manufactures very low VOC-content surface finishes and colours for wooden floors, featured 66m² of engineered European oak board divided its stand into sections finished with various oils, lacquers and stains from its range. This made it very easy to see the difference the surface finish can make to the appearance and performance of a wooden floor.
“We were consistently busy with very high quality leads taken each day from architects, interior designers, local authorities and private builders and developers,” said UK manager Jack Weavers. “Apart from a bit of grumbling about the overcrowded DLR trains, this was a very successful show for us and we’ve certainly got a great return on our investment.”
Bona’s stand also featured its online specification tool the ‘Inspiration House’ (www.bona.com) which is available to help architects, designers and their clients specify the most appropriate, sustainable surface finish for their floor.
