Newark Timber Supplies has installed a KoolKut vertical panel saw to cope with growing business.
The company opted to replace its old table saw because it offered only limited accuracy, required large amounts of clear floor space and needed two or three people to operate.
A KoolKut KK16 vertical panel saw, sourced from Silchester-based Sagatech Industries Ltd, has been installed against a wall in Newark’s workshop to save space. It cuts sheet materials up to 3.1×1.6m.
Newark’s managing director Paul Riley said the saw’s speed and ease of use has allowed the firm to take on work it previously was not able to consider.
