Finsa’s showpiece display was an eye-catching staircase with internal illumination cut-outs made from its GreenPanel – top and bottom layers of MDF with an MDF vertical strip grid core.

The display was the winning design from a Finsa-sponsored competition for Art & Design Academy students at Liverpool John Moores University.

Finsa’s Ramon Prieto Trigo said suspended ceilings, partitions and furniture were among the applications for Greenpanel.

Other lightweight products featured included FinLight, Iberpan 400 (low density MDF) and Fibrapan Ultralight.
