A Timesavers Sandingmaster machine has replaced hand-held electric sanders at Harris Joinery.
The Dutch-made Winner Senior 1100C wide-belt sander is being used by the Leicestershire-based company in the production of doors, window frames, cupboards, and worktops which are supplied to builders and domestic clients.
The Winner has a frequency controlled feed speed of 5-22m/min, a re-programmable thickness setting with a digital readout and fine adjustment on the aggregate.
It has a working width of 1100mm and a belt size of 1130x1900mm, with an adjustable 80 shore contact roller and a 75mm wide felt sanding pad combined in one head.
The Sandingmaster range is available from £6,000.
