Howarth Timber has completed the roll out of new computer software at 23 of its merchanting outlets.
The Leeds-based merchant chose Kerridge Commercial Systems‘ K8 software to update its systems following a trial at several branches. Some 300 Howarth staff are now live on the software.
K8 includes supplier analysis, supplier rebate analysis, customer relationship management, e-trading capabilities, electronic funds transfer, chip and pin functionality and connectivity with hand-held terminals.
Howarth’s head of IT Paul Cornford said: “The excellent features of the K8 software will enable us to better adhere to our business processes with even greater efficiency, while at the same time ensuring our customers receive optimal service.”
