Italy-based Albertani Corporation used Timber Expo as part of its European marketing campaign for its portfolio of laminated wood products.
The company, represented in the UK by NFP Europe, highlighted is Tecsol brand of laminated scantlings for windows and doors, as well as straight glulam beams. It also demonstrated its capabilities in arched laminated beams.
“There is a growing interest here in these kind of products,” said director Ilario Albertani.
He said less wood waste and quicker production were two of the benefits joinery companies were realising when switching to laminated components.
NFP Europe promoted new profiles of its Megawood wood composite decking. The current hollow profile is being replaced with a grooved profile on the underside which aids water run-off.
