Forklift truck manufacturer Kalmar has set up a UK national partner network to provide local sales and service support for its customers.
Nine regional partners familiar with heavy industrial equipment have been chosen, giving a total of 23 service locations around the UK.
They will be responsible for a vehicle range which includes diesel, electric and LP gas powered units from 5.5 tonnes to 9 tonnes, and diesel powered trucks from 10 to 28 tonnes.
The distributors are equipped to provide repair, maintenance and mobile service facilities, replacement parts, advice on financing options and fleet management. Kalmar’s own sales team will continue to deal with selected major customers.
