A move from a city centre site has enabled Llandaff Laminates to triple the amount of storage it has available at its new site.
The company has invested about £300,000 in Stakapal cantilevered and pallet racking, plus a customised multi-direction Sidetracker forklift truck and other developments at its Capital Business Park site.
The company moved there in March because its former location in the city could not cope with expansion, transport and storage requirements.
Managing director Mark Phillips said: “We now have the potential to grow, which we did not have with the old site.”
Llandaff, established in 1968, originally specialised in decorative plastic laminates but has diversified its portfolio to distribute worktops, sheet materials, appliances and kitchen products. It is one of the oldest established distributors of the Duropal product.
